Web
sites
Writing for printed pieces makes us focus on the logical
flow of the text. In a sense, it's all about the
transitions.
Writing for the web is very different. It's all
about architecture
and
brevity.
It's about anticipating where the visitor may want to go
next, and making that journey both easy and rewarding.
In many cases, our challenge is to make something that's
different from an existing printed piece—but which works
well with that piece.
In most cases, we work closely with a graphic design firm
to make sure the content and presentation work seamlessly.
We develop a clickable prototype (which we publish to a
secure site on the web) so that the client can see how the
text actually works. Revisions can be made and published
almost in real time.
